Biography
I am a licensed clinical psychologist currently working as
the Washington State Patrol Department Psychologist. I provide

teach at the WSP Academy, provide psychological screening of
trooper applicants, and consult with command staff on Agency
issues.
I am a faculty member of the International Critical Incident

1998, I developed my Suicide Prevention, Intervention, and
Postvention course, which I present with the ICISF around the
country.
I am a past-President of the Washington Critical Incident Stress
Management Network. Our organization provides training and
service in managing critical incidents. We hold an Annual
Conference every fall. For more information, visit the
WA CISM Network.
I have a variety of presentation topics prepared, including
suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention; critical
incident stress management; peer support; death notification;
time, anger, and stress management; workplace violence; coping
with change, communication skills, and related topics.
If you have a specific topic in mind that is not listed, let's
talk about developing a course to address your specific needs.
